Saddam's novel to be published next week

AMMAN, Jordan: Saddam Hussein's family will publish next week a novel written by the ousted Iraqi leader before the US-led war on Iraq, his daughter said on Friday. "Ekhroj minha ya mal'un" whose title could be translated into "Get out, damned one" tells the story of a man called Ezekiel who plots to overthrow a town's sheik, but is defeated in his quest by the sheik's daughter and an Arab warrior. The story is apparently a metaphor for a Zionist-Christian plot against Arabs and Muslims. Ezekiel is meant to symbolize the Jews. Raghad Saddam Hussein said her father finished the novel on March 18, 2003 -- a day before the US-led war on Iraq began -- and had expressed a wish to publish the book under his name. The three other novels he wrote were simply signed "Its author." "It was my father's will to publish this book," Raghad said in a telephone interview. How to decide what to read...

its funny whats happening with me today, today I decide to change some of my life style, so I charged up my credit card, and decided to purchase some books online but you know what I have forgot? I forgot to decide what to read, I'm used to tech reading, so I can pick my needs of tech, but right now i'm not able to decide what I want to read about other than tech. and politics, I have no experience in other readings, well I think I'll try lightweight novels and see how it will goes. to smoke or not to smoke

to smoke or not to smoke, actually I don't want to, & I have quit smoking before, but after one month I got back to this stupid habit, my problem with smoking is I really enjoy it... its stupid, dirty, ugly habit, and I want to quit, I have some good reasons that may help, I'm not heavy smoker anymore, mostly I don't smoke in public, while walking, car... and the main good reason is I'm not addicted to cigarette, but I'm addicted to enjoyment on the other hand all of my friends are damn heavy smokers, it could be easy to quit smoking but hard to quit heavy smokers friends which having time with them increase the addiction anyway I'll be doing my best to breakup with cigarette enjoyment [tags]personal, smoke[/tags]

:Tech: Wife 1.0 Compatibility

Dear Technical Support, I am desperate for some help. I recently upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0 and found that the new program began unexpected child processing and also took up a lot of space and valuable resources. This wasn't mentioned in the product brochure. In addition Wife 1.0 installs itself into all other Programs and launches during system initialization where it monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Boys Night Out 2.5, and Wrestling 5.3 no longer run and crash the system whenever selected. Attempting to operate Saturday Football 6.3 always fails but Saturday Shopping 7.1 runs instead. I cannot seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background whilst attempting to run any of my favorite applications. I am thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0 but uninstall doesn't work on this program. Can you please help. Thank you, ___________________________________________ REPLY FROM TECHNICAL SUPPORT Dear Sir, This is a very common problem resulting from

:Firewall: Haloscan and me

in my other post I explained my problem with haloscan commenting system, and I was asking for help now No more troubles with haloscan, and here is why Firestarter is a nice gnome GUI for the iptables firewall. Haloscan is used by a lot of blogs around the web to provide the ability to make comments. Explanation: 72.x.x.x didn't use to be valid addresses, so anything coming from here would be spam. By inserting this rule into the firewall we can treat 72.9.234.77 (And ONLY 72.9.234.77) the same as every other IP address. An alternative would be to remove the line "72.0.0.0/8" from /etc/firestarter/non-routables, but that unblocks the entire range. Problem: Firestarter blocks the entire 72.x.x.x range BEFORE it allows individual IP addresses. www.haloscan.com has an ip of 72.9.234.77. Symptoms: Any page with a haloscan comment box will time out because haloscan won't load. Solution: Edit /etc/firestarer/user-post and add the following text. /sbin/iptables -I NR -p tcp
