Starbucks is the best Coffeehouse in Amman and here is why

It's not like caffeine runs in my veins but I enjoy reading and writing with coffee, though I do have a decent coffee machine at home but setting in a coffeehouse is more convenient especially if they have outdoor section. Starbucks has always been my favourite coffeehouse but recently Nasseem recommended Cilantro but I didn't try it as he recommended it for political reasons rather than the quality of service, couple of weeks later, Omar trapped me for cilantro! and here is my feedback. I'm a regular Starbucks customer and they never fail at making the best coffee in Amman, add to that their quality of services, add to that, they hire Jordanians. That is good business! I'm not against hiring other nationalities, people have to making a living after all, and Jordanians prefers, sometimes, not to work in certain fields as they don't see it as "theirs". However, with training and good salaries, Jordanians are giving the best service at Starbucks. So basic

Dreamhost rocks

After hours of struggling to get this blog to run smoothly on EC2, I failed. and I also failed at importing WordPress export to Blogger.com, else you would be reading this blog on blogspot. I have been DreamHost.com customer for ages, they never failed me, but they are not as fast as I wish them to be. Anyway, the final verdict is to stay with DreamHost and work on the blog then start blogging!

Back to blogging but

So I'm back to blogging but I still have some technical issues to settle. I'm hosting this blog on Amazon EC2 with a fine Elastic HTTP load balancer, the performance is much better than what I wanted when I decided to run out of DreamHost.com. I still have a simple issue with Amazon's EC2. EC2-IP address and Public DNS changes whenever your instance is rebooted, that would only introduce a downtime; and that's why they introduced Elastic IP-Addresses. I got myself an Elastic IP but my instance would is taking about 30 minutes to start responding after a reboot, I'm getting that's my DNS ttl, though I have a fixed ip. If I manage to solve its puzzle I would settle my blog with Amazon, and if I fail, I'm considering to go back to Blogger.com, I started blogging there in 2002 and still have my old lovely account but then I will have to find a way to import WordPress export to Blogger.com Or should I go to slow but reliable and always on DreamHost.com? I'm
