Why do humans kiss?

Beware the 'Kiss Of Death'. How do you know when you've received it? A good indication is that the person kissing you is a big, fat man called 'Don' who smells of cigars and Grappa. If, while kissing you on the lips, Don squeezes your cheeks and sends 'the boys' out with you. You've had it - run like hell. If you don't, it is likely that death will follow.

Let's put kidding away, I'm serious about it, We do people kiss? and why it's the most pleasurable thing that you may experience on earth ? If you are doing it with the right company :p
is it just something embedded to our minds so we do it whenever we have the chance ? let's have a look at some theories of How people started to kiss

This one seems to be silly and yes it is silly but romantic, it's like every story that appear after the existence of something just to make it look good or romantic

As was custom, the young man gave the young lady a token of engagement, similar to today's engagement ring. While she was out in the fields, she was attacked, and to keep the token safe, she put it in her mouth. Her lover heard of her attack and ran out to her, where she was alone, but shaking. He took her in his arms, and tried to console her over the loss of the token, as he could not see it anywhere. She opened her mouth to show him where it was, and he was very pleased. He wanted to take it from her mouth, but also did not want to let go of her. He leaned down and took it from her mouth using his lips, and this was the first kiss. Realizing the pleasure of the kiss, the token was removed, the kissing resumed, and kissing is now embedded in our culture.

Some people call it The hunger of passion but I don't get it because if you are hungry many dishes will fly around your head wishing to get one of them if not all, so DO YOU wish to kiss lots of people?

On the other hand why kiss are so adorable while human mouth is full of bacteria and it might sound funny but it could be safer to kiss a dog (if he got the proper food) than kissing a human

So I resigned from toot corp, it was pleasant experience to work with such talented people and in such cool and dandy environment, I'm not associated with itoot.net any more nor I have Jad@itoot.net any more.

Again, it's been a joy to work with Ahmad, George, Karim, Roba, Wael and all Syntaxers.

I really wish the best for toot corp.

Shopping for new laptop

Been doing research on brands and models for a week now and I decided to stick with Toshiba their build quality makes them superior, now the thing is what's up with PC stores in Jordan ?

Yesterday SMS The sole distributer and authorized service center of Toshiba in Jordan had one page advertisement of their laptops, prices and specs
Ok, let me make it short for you, not all of the mentioned models are available in the listed authorized resellers and the ones available are different either in price or specs, the only one to met their offer and specs had 1 year warranty instead of THREE as advertised HELL! and that one was in Carrefour in their show desks and have been touched by almost every Jordanian visited Carrefour so I'm not buying it and it was the last one.

So I decided to head to PC Zone, so it's Mecca-Mall Branch, first the security didn't let me in because I'm male only creature so I had to call a friend and borrow her :D fortunately she was in Mecca-Mall, Thanks for the hand buddy.

So it was like
Jad: Hello, I'm interested in your Toshiba Tecra offer, saw it today morning in Al-Waseet
PC Zone guy: Oh, Sorry but we don't advertise on Al-Waseet we do have our own weekly newspaper
Jad: Ohh but your name was mentioned as authorized reseller?
PC Zone guy: Yes, but we are not committed to that offer, we are only committed to what we advertise.
Jad: Ok, nevertheless, do you have any Tecras ?
PC Zone guy: Why do you want Tecra? why not Satellite or even Acer, we have good offers on Acer
Jad: I have Tecra S2 and I know about its build quality VS Satellite build quality, so do you have Tecra?
PC Zone guy: No, but maybe within a month
Jad: Ok, lemme check what you have anyway (da na na da na na na dada da )
Jad: Ok, I think I'll stick to Tecra, Thank you anyway.
PC Zone guy: If you have a model in mind we can order it for you from the states sir.
Jad: is it going to be cheaper?
PC Zone guy: No
Jad: Ohh Why would I order something from the states when we have it in Jordan and when we actually have a Sole distributer and Authorized service center in Amman?
PC Zone guy: heh, true
Jad: whispering to himself (ugh ugh ugh)
Jad: Thank you anyway, bye

So what the hell is going on? why making it such difficult task to buy a new laptop? isn't enough we are paying at least 30% more than internet/States prices?

And the funny is I'm tried to call them today but they never picked up the phone or they don't work on Saturday because *maybe* they don't see the need to sell laptops or provide support in weekends as Jordanians are busy during their weekends and they will not go shopping and they have plenty of free time during the week.

damn

Wikipedia VS Blogs

I'm not sure if it's right to compare two things of different kinds but how did we know that they are of different kinds if we didn't compare them in the first place?

The thing is blogs sucks! it has many interesting posts and I read many interesting blogs but how worthy is it ? other than the worthness of I read blogs instead of newspapers then it's not worth at all especially those blogs that writes about anything and everything (me?) I admit I learned many tips and tricks thru following technical blogs and learned many stuff while reading about people experience but was it that worthy compared to articles in wikipedia ?

Well, I have been away from blogging for almost one month now with exception of Al faisali game post and I can tell you that I was reading blogs but not as I used to do and I started reading more of Wikipedia's articles and I just was reading a random article about eye contact.

Maybe one shouldn't be very e-social person because social networks and communities traps you sometimes and make you just fool addict to it while one should be addict to something useful like wikipedia or even do what my friend bakkouz been doing, write for wikipedia! yes you can write or translate English articles into Arabic.

anyway, I hope to maintain my current e-readings ratio which is about 1/5, one blog post per five wikipedia's articles, try it, it worth it.

The Alternative Channel TM

Television over Internet offers a real opportunity to build an alternative news media by and for worldwide citizens. The goal of The Alternative Channel TM is to offer a complementary voice to this global movement, by web casting quality TV content over the Internet produced by citizen journalists. Unconventional and non-conformist, The Alternative Channel TM is a true alternative to the stereotypes currently found in today’s traditional media. It is a response to what is becoming one of the definitive features of the way we understand our world: citizen journalism.

The Alternative Channel TM offers the capacity to deliver first-hand, frontline journalism without depending on corporate services. Our uniqueness is our democratisation of information and our ability to bypass mainstream agencies. This uniqueness also underlines our major challenge: to deliver credible information. This mandate of quality and credibility has been entrusted to The Alternative Channel TM Editorial team, whose responsibilities include accrediting our Alternative journalists as well as applying our Code of Ethics, our Journalistic Policy and our Quality chart to all videos submitted by our contributors.

The Alternative Channel TM isn’t a place for dumping clips from CNN and Al Jazeera. We are looking for journalists - people who can zero in on something and share exactly what they see. We are looking for communicators. The videos we are looking for on A-Channel manage the miracle of putting forth perspective without bias.

Ya Allah! Hula Hoops

Ok, it's not a secret that I decided to use public buses instead of taxis and white taxis especially in my daily home-office office-home, at first I decided to do that just to avoid car accident that would happen daily in Wadi Saqra exactly on the U-turn near Radisson sas, I thought the damage is coming and it's much safer to be in bus than car and that would minimize the damage in way or another but what I didn't realize that bus drivers do their best to make your life harder especially when taking and getting off, they just never fully stop for you to get in or off and you have to do the Hula hoops jump!

Ya Allah! Hula Hoops
don't nag about the quality it was taken with 12x zoom although it's optical.

Ok, I don't mind doing it, it's actually fun to do it but it's totally crazy to do it when the bus taking the left lan and open the door for you at 40km speed, that would maximize the damage at best case for your laptop.

Three years ago when we start to see Hammer cars more often in Amman I was thinking why would someone need a Hammer in Amman ? but now it's very reasonable and rational to get a Hammer if you can afford it or maybe one should take special training with U.S marines to fight in Ammanie streets or maybe quit driving.

On the other hand, any idea why they stopped e-tickets for public transportation ? it's much easier to have a card instead of googling family purses and wallets for a change before heading to office.

I'm googling for a car now to avoid this daily hassle and to move into next level of hassle, if you think you can help (I'm not into it at all) please drop me an email.
