I never thought such thing would happen in a Turkey at least because they always try to polish themselves to look attractive for European Union; I guess we all have to agree with Matt at least because they aren't as restrictive as China

You know, the main concern here isn't really the issue of censorship or freedom of speech, but the legal system itself that allowed such an order to take place.
ReplyDeleteIt would seem that the Turkish have made a habit of blocking websites since they've blocked youtube and flickr before, and now wordpress.
This surely won't help Turkey's efforts to join the European Union :)
I think it's because WordPress wears hijab!
