Volunteer work in Jordan - Dream of mother organization

Online Volunteering Services

Unfortunately it's not easy to find a volunteer work in Jordan, some may say you are serious about it you will find it but honestly I'm serious about it but I don't have the time to search especially if it's going to take much of my time.

The other fact that you will have to live with is that people will deal with you as salesman and they will be discussing How they will benefit if you volunteered to collect donations but honestly they are quick in showing the money if a white man asked for it.

In the last three weeks I've attended to Family International Community Service (FICS) weekly gathering but this isn't a volunteering project for me but it's for them as they are trying to motivate Jordanian to enroll in volunteer work and helping them to find a project that they can do something and make a change.

Finding a project is easy, it's matter of thinking about any problem you have seen or heard of but how to process to the next step ?

Why we don't have mother NGO that collect funds for general non-profit work and then they assign the proper amount of money to a certain indivisual project?

Lets fact the fact, We are lazy, we work from 9 AM to 6 PM and there are no space to walk and ask for funding a project, so if we had this *dream on* organization we would just start the project and give it some of our time after work hours.

This organization should also give you the power to do more and let me give you an example here, couple of weeks ago I wrote article about Mesothelioma Cancer which cause are mainly the Asbestos and during my research about it I found that UNRWA in Jordan has provided refugee camps in asbestos roofing so I sent them an email asking for more information.

Can we dream of such organization ?
