"Controversial" fodder policy to be reviewed

Jordanian Government personnel are expert in causing disagreement on anything whenever they come with a new decision even if it's good decision. Couple of days ago the government decided to cut all subsidies on livestock feed which apparently cause some riots in south of Amman and in Al-Mafraq city especially because both are the land of small herds owners. Govt used to give aids for all level of herds owner even those who classify as businessmen or investors which isn't fair at all because they can just export it and then they will be exporting a product that was sponsored by the Jordanian government and making money out of that without sharing it with anyone back. That's exactly what happened in last Eid Adha when those wealthy businessmen exported their herds to Gulf countries and because of that we enjoyed the Chinese sheep during Adha while someone enjoying ours sponsored by our government and paid from our own pockets. Maybe disallowing them to export it would cause m

WordPress BANNED in Turkey

I never thought such thing would happen in a Turkey at least because they always try to polish themselves to look attractive for European Union; I guess we all have to agree with Matt at least because they aren't as restrictive as China The short version of story is that they blocked WordPress.com because one of bloggers insulted Mr. Adnan Oktar / Harun Yahya . maybe my friend Bakkouz can tell us more about Harun Yahya as he translated one of Haron Yahya's sites into Arabic and for the long story you can check WordPress.com Why we're blocked in Turkey . Security VS Privacy

Would you hate it if you knew that someone listening to your phone calls in the name of national security and war against terror ? do you think that they have time to listen to your girl friend flirting to you ? I'm all with free software and open sourcing every single bit of software on this living earth and make it free too; but yet this doesn't mean I will say that every single closed source application is evil nor be aware of X or Y closed source application unless I have a point that I can prove. I do not mind my calls to be monitored as long as they do it under the name of security, I don't want them to say Only if we were monitoring those bloody VOIP calls that shit wouldn't happen if it's for security then please go ahead, I don't mind it, break my privacy please. on the contrary I can't really understand why they're assuming that terrorists would coordinate their operations through Skype ? how about normal cell phones which is harder to trace

It's LASEK with an E!

Okie Doctor Khaled Al-Sharef said I have thin cornea 550 microns and this means LASIK nor INTRA LASIK would work with me and I'd need custom LASEK (Yes, with an E) Now I'm not sure if I want to go for it or not especially with the estimated healing period which might exceed 15 days or maybe I should wait until technology comes up with something better and smoother than corneas sculpturing or perhaps something wont eat 200 microns of my cornea which might jeopardize my cornea integrity. anyway, I don't think I'm going to make it at least not the next two years and you know what, I'm used to my glasses now, no more LASE/IK for Jad. In the beginning there was a blogosphere

Before 2004 In the beginning there were strange entities known as bloggers, these entities were without shelter and had no way to survive but to battle over distraught visitors.Scattered around the web, they longed for their savior. In year 2004, it was the will of one man, a man who's vision was of great magnitude... Isam said "let there be a planet". And the pages of the Jordanian blogs started to shiver and tremble as the awesome power of aggregation beaconed it's way. "Let there be a planet" he said...and then there was a planet . More... To LASIK or not to LASIK

Ok, it's no secret that I've been planning to do it and just one week ago I started to talk with some doctors about it and now I'm in doubt and I'm not sure if I should go for it or not First it's hard to find a surgeon who can gain your trust because whenever you start talking about LAZIK to your doctor, the conversation will turn to a typical salesman/consumer conversation. And most of doctors I met so far didn't like my long list of questions about LAZIK and about their experience with LAZIK; and they will get annoyed especially with a question like Excuse me doctor but you're wearing glasses, why not LAZIK yourself? Nevertheless, I can put my trust on Jordanian doctors easily but I hate them when they wear the salesman hat. On the other hand, each and everyone of them has his own theory on LAZIK procedure, some insist that it is the doctor experience that make things happen and some are kinda humble of facing the fact that it is the device and how new an
