Are you creative ?

In Jordan we have a strict regulations when it comes to car plates because they want a unified readable car plate so it's easy to get the number whenever you need it.

Lots of guys in Jordan tries re-innovate (LoL) their car plates and I guess we have seen plenty of weird looking plates, Some are well designed ( and I wonder why the police don't adapt the good design) and some are sucks and meant to fool people or police if they tried to read the number...

Nevertheless, all Jordanian tries was never series at least because they try to avoid the big fat fine not to mention that Jordanian aren't as creative as Lebanese people and that's why Jordanians are the second or the third people in advertising business in Middle East and sure Lebanese on the top in that market.

But why Lebanese? Can't we be creative as they are ? let's take a closer look on car plates as a case study (LoL) see how creative they are!

2.jpg

I guess if they allow us to do the same in Jordan as in Quebec, we would do better and if you are a regular visitor of Talasim then you know what I mean, or you take a look

Now let's compare Jordanian creativity with the Quebec Lebanese one

Man needed surgery after sex with hedgehog

Ananove - A Serbian man needed emergency surgery after he had sex with a hedgehog on a witchdoctors advice.

Zoran Nikolovic, 35, from Belgrade, says the witchdoctor told him it would cure his premature ejaculation.

But he ended up in an operating theater after the hedgehog's needles left his penis severely lacerated.

A hospital spokesman said: The animal was apparently unhurt and the patient came off much worse from the encounter. We have managed to repair the damage to his penis.

What would I say ? I mean other than LOL ?

Dead?

Is it rumor or a fact? I mean; a news agency should be accurate especially when it come to piece of news says the possibility Osama bin Laden died of typhoid.

Well, One may ask how that would affect me or affect anyone at least because we aren't in direct fight with him or his people, but the fact yes we are at least with the ideology that he and his followers hold.

So let me put it in this way, Anyone can confirm that news so we can celebrate ? indeed I'll dance naked :D

Haifa wahbi is calling for help!

[tags] haifa, wahbi, calling, help [/tags]
I'm not sure if it's going to work, I mean the new Jordanian laws that aims to fight terror in Jordan which was proposed recently to the Parliament, Yes, I'm little confused because of it and that because I don't know what is it and how it's going to be applied.

First let me make my point clear, I'm totally with this new law especially when I heard about restricting fatwa's (Islamic legislations) to a certain people of specialist in this field, so I'm happy but...

How this is going to be applied? is it right to do that from the first place? I mean there is advantages and disadvantages for the new law, The advantage is that we will not see more idiots, x-prisoners who are able to give a fatwa in minutes when a specialist would need weeks if not months to give the right decision as many changes would happen because of this fatwa because it's (in Islam) a legislation of different levels and the opposite to the fatwa might become Haram ( forbidden).

On the other hand the fatwa itself is just a personal opinion on certain case but because of the religious educational level of the person who give fatwa, it become valid and people follow it, simply because people always needs a sympol or a person to follow or in some cases when they are confused they want a final decision from the fatwa legislator; Therefore we cannot limit people's thinking, I mean everyone has the right to think and give an answer but we shouldn't follow anyone
On the other hand one fatwa's could be illegal but still a valid fatwa or it could be legal but invalid fatwa and that because people comes from different backgrounds, different needs and different cases.

Actually, I have been thinking about this issue for days now, and I thought I shouldn't publish it before coming up with an idea that would be at least discussed on blogospher as alternative or enhancement to what the Parliament may process as new law in Jordan; but unfortunately I couldn't find anything that solve the problem because we are in big trouble because we have dirty mentality that may gives fatwa to kill someone or to classify someone as infidel and so it's just fine to behead him or someone may gives a fatwa that make committing suicide as easy as making your morning coffee.

But how would the new law stop that ?
We have long confused history and we are still very confused about lots of issues, so those people who hold the dirty mentality will stop giving out these kind of fatwas? DEFINITELY YES, simply because it's strict law and the government and the people want it but the problem isn't here actually

Let's try to analyze and predict what would happen, taking in consideration the following factors:

  • We have lots of dirty minds

  • Who may give you the fatwa to kill someone

  • Who may classify other people as infidels

  • Most of people aren't well educated, and I'm not talking about the academic degree here

  • Icons

    • People love to follow icons

    • Lack of moderate direction

    • no moderate religious icon exists

A Complex equation ? isn't it ? I imagine that even if this law proceed and become valid in Jordan, people will still ask for fatwas and sick minded people would still give out fatwas just by saying sorry I don't know, but in history we had this case and X said this while Y did this... This is just fine; but when our society lack education this would give the same result as giving direct sick fatwa and maybe even more as some known religious icons are being mentioned in this case.

So, do you really think the new law would help in anyway to get the issue closed? Americans, British and Spanish had this law for at least two years and did it work ? unfortunately not as bin ladin still free and his base and power seems to be growing (If you watched the last video of al-zawahri on Aljazeera, he was sitting in a library! HOLLY SHIT!, Elegant library in Afhanistain while he's being chased? )

I guess the best is to fight the root of the problem, which is the sick mentality by giving helping moderate religious Muslims to get heard more and more, and maybe giving some sessions about the moderate Islam (which should be the default) in prison for the prisoners in related cases; you might be shocked that Saudi Arabia managed to change about 400 prisoner mentality from extremest into very moderate just by giving these sessions for three months but in Saudi Arabia the case is different because they have real strong moderate icons while we don't.

Finally, I pray to god to keep Jordan safe, to keep the world safe, I really want to be able to picture my future in the next 10 years but with this chaos it's really hard.

    Son of the PARROT!

An old man was sitting on a bench at the mall.

A young punk walked up and sat down next to him.

He had spiked hair in different colours - green, red, orange, blue, and

    yellow.

The old man just stared at him.

The young man turned to him and said sarcastically, "What's the matter old

timer, never done anything wild in your life?"

Without batting an eyelid, the old man replied,

"Got drunk once and f**ked a parrot. I was just wondering if you were my

    son."

    Men Rules!

We always hear "the rules" from the female side, Now here are the rules from the male side.

    • Please note... these are all numbered "1" - ON PURPOSE!

    • Breasts are for looking at and that is why we do it. Don't try to change that

    • Learn to work the toilet seat. You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down. We need it up, you need it down. You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it down.

    • aturday = sports. It's like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be.

    • hopping is NOT a sport. And no, we are never going to think of it that way.

    • Crying is blackmail.

    • Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one:

      • Subtle hints do not work!

      • Strong hints do not work!

      • Obvious hints do not work!

      • JUST SAY IT!

    • Yes and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question

    • Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That's what we do.
Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for

    • A headache that lasts for 17 months is a problem. See a doctor

    • Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument.
In fact, all comments become null and void after 7 days

    • If you think you're fat, you probably are. Don't ask us

    • If something we said can be interpreted two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one

    • You can either ask us to do something or tell us how you want it done

      • Not both

      • If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself

    • Whenever possible, please say whatever you have to say during commercials

    • Christopher Columbus did not need directions and neither do we

    • ALL men see in only 16 colours, like Windows default settings.

      • Peach, for example, is a fruit, not a colour. Pumpkin is also a fruit.

      • We have no idea what a mauve is.

    • If it itches, it will be scratched. We do that.

    • If we ask what is wrong and you say "nothing," we will act like nothing's wrong. We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle

    • If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, expect an answer you don't want to hear

    • When we have to go somewhere, absolutely anything you wear is fine, Really

    • Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as:

      • Sex, Sport, or Cars

    • You have enough clothes

    • You have too many shoes

    • I am in shape. Round is a shape.

    • Thank you for reading this; Yes, I know, I have to sleep on the
couch tonight, but did you know men really don't mind that, it's like camping.

    • Pass this to as many men as you can - to give them a laugh.

    • Pass this to as many women as you can - to give them an education

Jordan gates towers fall down :(

While in JP meeting Khalida's friend called her to tell her about the shocking news, first I didn't believe, actually I thought it's another rumor just like the Abdoun bridge one because unfortunately we are the rumors experts in Jordan.

What I was thinking of when I first heard it, ohh god be with us, save us and inshallah it's not a the terrorists again and al-hamdulilah it wasn't the terrorists but Seems to be low standards and dirty contractors.

anyway, no more to say, leave you with the distracting news

The birth of truely Arabic search engine

Hoaaaaaaryyyyy! indeed maktoob is changing and this time isn't just about the layout and size of advertisement banner but changes seems to be in their mentality which is cool!

To be honest, as Arabic Internet user, I have had lots of troubles with maktoob, starting from cashU ending with their huge banners, nevertheless they are changing and changes takes time.

Maktoob launched Araby.com The first Arabic search engine and now lemme skip the argument of if it's really the first or not but it really seems to be the first with a highly respected user interface, (if you ignore the blinking arrow and some other minor stuff) and allow me again to skin the argument of search result accuracy as it's very new they still have long way to crawl and index the web to give us better experience with Araby.

What makes me write this article is their search options (basic advanced search preferences) which is really not a copy cat of other search engines, obviously they did a quite good research before the kick start, as you can search in Arabic forums, blogs and news and this is really cool, I love it.

Hope the best for maktoob and I accept the launch of Araby as a compensation of their CashU failure.

    The two parrots

A lady goes to her priest one day and tells him. "Father, I have a problem.
I have two female parrots, but they only know how to say one thing."

"What do they say?" the priest inquired.

They say, "Hi, we're hookers! Do you want to have some fun?"

"That's obscene!" the priest exclaimed, Then he thought for a moment.

"You know," he said, "I may have a solution to your problem. I have two
male talking parrots, which I have taught to pray and read the Bible. Bring
your two parrots over to my house, and we'll put them in the cage with
Francis and Peter. My parrots can teach your parrots to praise and worship,
and your parrots are sure to stop saying that phrase in no time."

"Thank you," the woman responded, "this may very well be the solution."

The next day, she brought her female parrots to the priest's house. As he
ushered her in, she saw that his two male parrots were inside their cage
    holding rosary beads and praying.

Impressed, she walked over and placed her parrots in with them. After a few
minutes, the female parrots cried out in unison: "Hi, we're hookers! Do you
    want to have some fun?"

There was stunned silence. Shocked, one male parrot looked over at the other
male parrot and exclaimed, "Put the beads away, Frank. Our prayers have been
    answered."

8 Important Lessons Learned from 80s Cartoons

We'd like to point out that we're aware of the fact that some of the cartoons listed below did not originate in the '80s. However, they were on during the '80s, that's when we watched them, so they're '80s cartoons to us. It's like when we refer to bedwetting as "late '90s behavior." Without further adieu...

    CARTOON: The Smurfs
    LESSON: Communism works!
For naysayers who point to the Former Soviet Union as proof that communism is inherently flawed, may we merely direct your attention to Smurf Village, where everyone shares everything, wears similar utilitarian clothing, battles Gargamel and his turn-Smurfs-to-gold get rich quick schemes and obeys the dictates of a bearded, red hat-wearing, benevolent authority figure. Quoth Comrade Papa: “From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.” Really, he actually said that.
How it affected us as adults: Secret communist agendas ceased being dangerous, or really any adjective of consequence, years ago. The worst thing communism does these days is make Ivy League students waste a couple of years wearing ugly clothes and attending boring meetings. However, the sexual politics of Smurf Village, with its one female for every 30 guys, did go a long way towards preparing us for freshman year of college.

    Why do we pay taxes?

Everyone pays taxes in one form or another- mostly income and sales taxes. But why
do we pay these taxes? Well, it might be because the government can't afford to manage service effectively without getting more money but in our case we pay taxes to have the Cleaner truck not to visit us more than once a week!

This was the Damn good morning i got in my face.
    Why do we pay taxes?
