We have taken 40 years to build up a very big business in the Middle East, and we've seen it come to a complete stop in five days.
We have found ourselves in the middle of a game that we have no part in.
The remaining question, if we are going to boycott American, danish and maybe later EU* products , what the hell are we going to eat?
The thing now is American are calm about the boycotting because they will have room for their products, American cars will be soon the cheapest car Jordanian ever can buy as taxes and customs will go down to 0% and this applies only on American cars not EU's, I'm hunrgy and confused so better to go have dinner.

How did first man survive without Danish Butter and American Peanut butter? and not to mention Israeli Starbucks cafe?

ReplyDeleteOhoud, lets me realistic, honestly I'm all with the boycott but If you are used to fine products you cannot boycott them easily especially when there is no good alternatives not to mention the risks of finding yourself having unhealthy food produced from within seel el zarga.
The products you mentioned aren't necessary in our daily life, we are talking about products that we have always been using them namely Nido, Lurbak , Karolina?
Jad, Ive been boycotting for quite a while all American products and I can tell you there are more than great alternative out there.

Lurpak? Since when do arabs really eat butter? dont they use "Samneh" and "zayt" especially "Zayt zaytoun", its anyway healthier !you're saving yourself quite alot on cholestorol and future heart probelms.Or go without anything,thats what i personally prefere.
Karolina? what about Hamoudeh? they've got great diary products not to mention all Saudi arabians ones.

Not everything with a Barcode and American or danish flag, is sparkling quality, god knows what preservatives they add into these products.Go natural, the fresh diary products should be a better treat for every person ;)
